In response to the latest FB postings: The board of Maple Grove Cemeteries is aware of the ongoing issues related to the mowing of the cemetery and the damage to flags.

The board (comprised of representatives from Salem Lutheran, Salem UCC, and Trinity UMC) has addressed this concern before, and is again! Our cemetery supervisor is doing his best to catch issues as quickly as possible, but he does not mow. That service is contracted.

All cemetery board meetings are open to the lot owners (and the public is always welcomed as visitors). There is a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15th at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall of Salem Lutheran Church.

This issue will be discussed. The board is deeply saddened by the condition our cemeteries are left by outside contractors, and will always work to correct these situations as quickly as possible.
