Day #2 Youth mission trip!

Today started off with some pretty nasty storms which threw a curve ball in our plans to start demo on a porch this morning that we will be rebuilding this week. So due to the rain we were sent to HIS HOUSE which is a local consignment store/ ministry. At His house they sale items donated & take that money and help meet the needs of people within the community.
Today we were able to go and help these amazing ladies sort through tons of bags of clothes and boxes of miscellaneous items, we were able to clear a room that was once overwhelming and help make it usable! The best part was when we got ready to leave we asked to pray with these ladies and they shared with us they had been praying for volunteers, the lady shared they have been very short staffed! So God sent that rain, threw a curve ball in our plans to use our youth to be his hands and feet! About the time we finished up at HIS HOUSE, the rain stopped, the sun came out and we were able to go tear down the old deck and tomorrow we will be starting to rebuild that!!

We appreciate the continued prayers at we go on about this week!
