"It is not the work we do, the meetings we hold or the decisions we make that bring the greatest advances in the work; it is the time spent before the throne of God in prayer, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that brings power, laborers and resources into the ministry." Our Kentucky leadership team was blessed to share in fellowship and time with our Creator at one of our beautiful Kentucky state parks last month! The annual retreat provided sweet times of worship, prayer, testimonies, brainstorming, and instruction from the Word of God! We left recharged, determined, and eager to jump into the new ministry year. Are you interested in joining the team? Committed Christians who are willing to partner in prayer, financial support, volunteer service, and missionary staff are needed and welcomed on both the state and local level.

Spectacular Summer Summary: God used our 51 Christian Youth in Action summer missionaries to share Jesus with 854 children in 41 5-Day Clubs and 13 soccer party clubs! Praise God for at least 37 boys and girls who chose to put their faith in Jesus as Savior! Thank God for the young people who served well!

Chloe is a delightful young woman who loves Jesus and loves children. She serves as a volunteer Ministry Coordinator and Good News Club team leader in Southeastern Kentucky. We thank God for her and are happy to celebrate her life and ministry today! Happy Birthday, Chloe!

We are in our second week of the Instructor of Teachers Course, equipping godly men and women to train others through the 33-hour Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 Course. Please pray for our students to finish strong and be used of God to multiply ministry to boys and girls.

After learning how to put all the pieces together into an effective, fruitful, and fun-filled 5-Day Club on Friday morning at CYIA, the students used their skills in learning a new outreach: soccer party clubs! After study, demonstration, and practicing their individual parts, teams rehearsed an entire soccer party club. The evening ended with testimonies and a consecration challenge. It was an amazing week at CYIA!
