The E-Town Ministerium is a group of dedicated churches and leaders who network together to provide spiritual encouragement to the community and reach out to help with social needs that arise. We partner with like minded organizations to provide support and services to those in need throughout the community. We believe that people not only need to hear the gospel message, but witness it through our actions.

1,053,200 abortions were provided by clinicians in US states without a total ban in 2024.

1,053,200 lives lost.

1,053,200 dead babies.

All of those women dealing with the heartbreak of abortion.

The Lord has healing for you, dear sisters! 💜

Elizabethtown Area Communities That Care (EACTC) has been a part of the Elizabethtown Block Party since it's inception. They are the brains and driving force behind this event [and we are in our 14th year 🤯]!

EACTC has been working in Elizabethtown since 1999 when a group of concerned community citizens came together to try to figure out how to address what were perceived as escalating adolescent problems in the community.

Communities That Care brings community members interested in positive youth development together to focus on the prevention of adolescent problem behaviors. These behaviors include:

Delinquency
Substance Abuse
Violence
School Drop Out
Teen Pregnancy
Depression

We are less than a month away from our annual event! We'll be posting about our agencies joining us this year. Starting off with the Elizabethtown Ministerium.

The Elizabethtown Ministerium is one of our partners in bringing this event together. They have been serving the Elizabethtown area for decades and bring pastors together highlighting the social service agencies and church programs they work with to unify under service of the community. They meet monthly throughout the school year to see what urgent needs are pressing in our community and how we can work together to solve them. These are called Social Outreach and Planning meetings. They are open to church pastors or representatives and Social Service Organizations. They also meet monthly to pray and encourage one another through a devotional in their Spiritual Enrichment and Encouragement meetings and again monthly to pray with the borough police chief. If you're interested in finding out more, check out their webpage at www.etownministerium.com .

We are so excited to have them join us this year at the Elizabethtown Block Party, which is September 7th from 1:30pm to 4pm.

Today is National Home Front Heroes Day

"For hundreds of years, military service members have left home to serve their country. Historically, World War II had the most impressive number of Home Front Heroes that would keep the country going. In fact, during the war Americans stepped up to the task with remarkable determination. In addition, the civilian contribution to the war effort was extraordinary. In return, it led to encouragement for service members to complete successful military operations overseas.

Contributions made by Home Front Heroes is a long one, respectively. However, there are few well-known contributions which include:

Women joining the production lines;
Hosting charitable food, metal, and medical drives;
Businesses shifting to military production;
Rationing goods, such as sugar, coffee, and rubber; and
Victory Gardens planted to ensure adequate food supply on the Home front.
Today, Home Front Heroes are still making it possible for military service members to honor their commitment to our nation. Unsurprisingly, Home Front Heroes continue to actively participate in charitable organizations, volunteer in their communities, provide relief work, and dedicate time and money to help support service members and their families."

THANK YOU
