Living Faith Baptist Fellowship Some of us are Republicans, some of us are Democrats, some of us are neither. We come form many different backgrounds, family situations, and education levels.

Our Mission

The mission of Living Faith is to encourage Christlikeness in each other as we seek to share the good news of God’s love in Jesus Christ with people of all cultures. We believe God calls us to be One in Christ. What we Believe

We believe that each person is created after God’s own image. So, with the help of Jesus Christ, each person is able to approach God and read the Bible for the

m selves. Each one of us is called to caring for one another and our neighbors. We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of our lives and Head of our church. So, we make church decisions together by seeking to know what Christ would have for us to do and to be. When deciding who will serve in leadership roles we consider how we are unique gifted with talents and do not consider gender, race, or social status as barriers to leadership and service. The Bible is the record of God’s love for us and is our central guide for our faith. We believe the best way to do God’s will in God’s world is to partner with all kinds of people and to keep church and state separate. If you do not already have a church home, we would love for you to join us. Living Faith has ministries available for the entire family. What a great morning at Passport Camp!

Today we started the day with morning devotion and celebration alongside our friends from First Baptist Church Corbin. One of the things that caught my attention was an inscription at Berea College that reads, “God has made of one blood all peoples of the earth.” It felt like a fitting reminder for camp…that although we come from different churches, communities, and backgrounds, we are all God’s children and part of the same family of faith.

We’re grateful for new friendships, meaningful conversations, lots of laughter, and the opportunity to grow together in Christ this week.

Please continue to pray for our campers and leaders as we learn, worship, and serve together.

The kids and youth had a wonderful time journeying to Paris as they explored art camp’s theme of Jesus being revealed through story, art, and play. They engaged the lessons on Jesus’ birth, baptism, the wedding at Cana, and the road to Emmaus with curiosity and joy, discovering that God comes near, Jesus is revealed, God’s glory appears, and Christ is known among us. The reflected on several classic pieces of art, enjoyed Parisian snacks, worshiped through song, and played French children's games. It was a joy to watch them connect faith and creativity through the stories, art projects, recreation, and themed activities we shared together. They looked pretty fancy in their berets and scarves too!

Join us for our next sermons series as we will explore what it means to be a people formed by grace and sent in love.

"Sent" is a five-week journey, beginning on Pentecost, exploring how the risen Christ pours out the Holy Spirit and sends the church into the world. Through stories of calling, compassion, healing, and courageous witness, this series invites us to see that mission begins not with our strength, but with God’s mercy and power.
