Just a reminder that there will be no Midweek Studies this Wednesday.

Take the evening to rest, spend time with family, or catch up on a teaching you’ve missed. We’ll be back together next Wednesday and look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday as we continue our journey through the Sermon on the Mount.

Have a great week!

MISSION.

Pray with us for the people of the Philippines following a powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Mindanao. Current reports indicate that at least 32 people have lost their lives and more than 100 have been injured.

As updates continue to come in, local Assemblies of God leaders have reported no known casualties among church members. Two church buildings sustained minor damage and remain standing, while one congregation has lost the facility where they gather for worship. Communication has not yet been established with one section of the affected area, and concerns remain about the needs that may still be unknown.

Pray for comfort, strength, and peace for the thousands of people affected across Mindanao.

Pray for pastors, churches, and believers as they care for their communities and demonstrate the love of Christ during this difficult time.

Pray that many who are searching for hope in the wake of this disaster would encounter Jesus and come to a saving knowledge of Him.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Graduations, transitions, the chaos of new schedules…it can feel like a lot! But what if this summer was less about keeping up and more about leaning in? lean into your people. lean into rest. lean into the moments that actually matter. you don’t have to do summer perfectly. you just have to show up present!
that’s where the good stuff lives. 🌿☀️

The Golden Rule isn't just good advice—it's a radical call to transformation. Jesus challenges us to move beyond simply avoiding harm and actively pursue the good of others, even those who've hurt us.

"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the prophets." (Matthew 7:12)

This isn't about being nice. It's about asking a powerful question in every relationship: "If I were in their place, what would I want?" Then actually doing it. Not after they deserve it. Not after they earn it. But because that's what kingdom people do.

Who is God bringing to your mind right now? What's one thing you can do this week to actively will their good? The challenge isn't understanding the Golden Rule—it's living it out. Every time we choose to treat someone the way we want to be treated, the kingdom of God becomes visible.

The Golden Rule isn’t just a good principle for getting along with people—it’s the culmination of Jesus’ teaching on how His followers are to relate to others. In Matthew 7:12, Jesus gathers everything He has been teaching about anger, reconciliation, mercy, forgiveness, judgment, enemy love, and prayer into one simple command: “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.” This is more than a rule to follow; it is a vision for life in the Kingdom of God. Join us as we discover how this simple yet challenging command reshapes our relationships, reflects the heart of God, and serves as the summary of what it means to love our neighbors as apprentices of Jesus.
