Retirees Prayer Fellowship

Retirees Prayer Fellowship Send us your prayer requests! RPF was founded over 30 years ago by Mary McHenry. They lived by faith and God provided for their needs.

The Retirees Prayer Fellowship (RPF) exists to offer hope and comfort through literature to those in the later years of life, particularly to those who are ill and lonely or in prison and need a word of encouragement. Mary and her husband did not have children of their own but that did not stop them from impacting many young people through their creation of Joy Ranch orphanage in Virginia. As they

reached their retirement years, Mary felt that God was just not done with her yet. She started a new ministry called the Retirees Prayer Fellowship. Mary was the editor in chief of the quarterly publication The Best is Yet To Come. She was a writer and penned many poems and devotionals. Over the years, her work was collected and printed into several different books that RPF offers through their ministry. In addition to the quarterly newsletter – The Best is Yet to Come, they offer the following

Draw Me Tenderly – is intended for those who are in Hospice and their families

Out of my Heart – a book of poems and prose

To you, with Love – a book of biblical answers to many questions

Tracts – Christmas and General

Individual Poems

Mary died several years ago but her legacy lives on through the current members of the Retirees Prayer Fellowship which is still 100% volunteer operated and relies on financial support from members like you!
