Happy Pride Month ❤ God loves you just the way God made you!

Dear god,
As I open my eyes this morning
Lay your loving hands on my soul
Embrace me in a hug of your endless affirmation
That I was made exactly as you intended

Dear god,
Protect me and my siblings in Christ from hatred and violence
Remind me to be patient and understanding
Show me how to love and forgive as fully as you
As you’ve written, they know not what they do

Dear god,
Open my eyes to embrace the different people around me
Teach me how to welcome others through your perfect creation
How our diversity as one people is by your design
Not something to be shamed and ignored

Dear god,
When I lay my head down to sleep tonight
Help me remember that you love me
Not in spite of my queerness
But because of it
