Yesterday we sat with one of the strangest sentences in the New Testament.
A man in prison, writing a letter, volunteering to pay a debt that isn't his.
Paul didn't invent that posture. He learned it from Jesus — who looked at everything we owed and said: put it on my account.
That's the gospel. And it's not just something that was done for you — it's something you get to do for someone else.

Paul writes this letter from prison. He has nothing to offer except his name and his willingness to stand between two people and absorb the cost.
"If he owes you anything — charge it to me."
It's one of the most striking pictures of grace in the New Testament. And it points somewhere bigger than Paul.

Sunday we looked at what happens when grace finds someone before they find their way back. Not an upgrade. A rewrite. A new identity handed to someone who couldn't earn it.
