What a beautifully special day today during our Sensory Service as we baptized three new members from the same family.
Carly and two of her boys followed Jesus Christ in baptism; Carly in obedience, and her sons after a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior last week.
These boys were able to articulate an understanding of who Jesus is, the work he did on the cross, and their need for Jesus along with their deep desire to follow Him in baptism.
In spite of fears of going under water and uncertainty if one, or both, would be up to the task, both of these boys enthusiastically stepped into the water and made sure they went under, buried with Christ in death, and raised to new life!
Praise the Lord for His grace and tender mercy!
