Don Yordy took this picture of pastor Wayne Lawton on February 15th. It was the first Sunday pastor Wayne had been back at church since his surgery on January 7th. The piano was moved so that he could get his wheelchair in place so that he could play the hymns. The service has been canceled on February 22 due to snow. But services will resume next Sunday on March 1st.

Nathan Shertzer will be presenting Christmas music on his cello so don't miss worship this Sunday at Cedar Hill Church , December 28, 2025. Also each one present will receive a New Year's treat from Don Yordy who works at Dove Chocolate in ETown. A Bible message will be given by Pastor Wayne Lawton.

The worship service today was cancelled and you can see the reason why. One member called from Route 441 saying it was a glare of ice, not safe for anyone to travel this morning.
The Lord willing we will meet next Sunday, at 10 am December 21st, 2025
to have an early celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We don't know the actual date of his birth but we are so thankful that he came to save us from our sins and give the Holy Spirit to be with us until we go to our eternal home in heaven. Christ deserves to be worshipped and celebrated every day. Praise to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We had a surprise guest at church today. He is Del Burkholder, the Director of SUPPORT FOR PRISON MINISTRIES. God uses this man as he goes into the prisons in the State of Pennsylvania. He had a Sunday off and decided to come to Cedar Hill to encourage us in our reaching out to incarcerated persons with the love of Jesus Christ. He said, "I didn't come to speak" but at the pastors request he gave a brief report. And his presence was a blessing and encouragement to us all.
