“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2 (ESV) 🤍

Whatever this week holds, we don’t face it on our own. Our help comes from the One who created heaven and earth—the God who is faithful, unchanging, and present in every circumstance.

When you don’t know what to do next, look up. When the load feels heavy, lean on Him. When you need strength you simply don’t have, remember where your help comes from.

He is able. He is faithful. And He is with you. 💛

What a meaningful morning of worship at Calvary. ❤️

Dr. Kenneth Jordan brought today’s message, “The Mind…of Christ,” from 1 Corinthians 2:7–16, reminding us of the wisdom revealed to us through the Spirit and the incredible truth that, as believers, “we have the mind of Christ.”

We also gathered around the Lord’s Table, remembering together the body given and the blood shed for us. In the bread and the cup, we were reminded once again of the grace that saved us, the sacrifice that unites us, and the Savior we follow.

“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 2:16 ESV

What a gift it is to worship, remember, and grow together as the family of God. 💙

Something new starts TOMORROW NIGHT for Calvary Students! 🏕️❤️

BASE CAMP—a Sunday night built around something pretty simple: giving our students time to be together.

There’ll be food. There’ll be games. There’ll be plenty of laughter. 😂 And somewhere in the middle of it all, we’ll slow down for a short devotional and spend some time talking about Jesus.

Because some of the best ministry happens when students have time to sit around a table, laugh together, build friendships, and realize that church is a place where they are known, loved, and genuinely belong.

The fruit of the Spirit isn’t something we manufacture on our own—it’s what begins to grow in us as we walk closely with Jesus. ❤️

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Kindness. Goodness. Faithfulness. Gentleness. Self-control.

May our lives look a little more like Him today—in our homes, our conversations, our workplaces, and everywhere God sends us.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” — Galatians 5:22–23 ESV

Walk by the Spirit. Live like Jesus. Make a difference. 💛

When life feels uncertain, we have a sure and steady place to stand. ❤️

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Circumstances change. Plans change. Seasons change. But our God does not.

Whatever you’re carrying today, you can run to Him. He is our refuge when we’re weary, our strength when we feel weak, and our Rock when everything around us feels unsteady.

At Calvary, we’re thankful we don’t have to walk through life alone. We have a faithful God—and a church family to walk beside us. 💙
