Today’s Power Verse:

“And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.”
2 Kings 5:3

Devotional Thought:
This verse highlights the powerful testimony of a young servant girl who refused to stay silent about the God she knew. Though she was far from home and living in difficult circumstances, she still pointed others toward the place where healing could be found. She did not have the power to heal Naaman herself, but she knew where the answer was. Sometimes the greatest witness comes from ordinary people who simply tell others about the hope they have in God. One faithful testimony can become the turning point in someone else’s life. God often uses willing voices, not famous ones, to lead people toward deliverance.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me be faithful to speak about You wherever I am. Give me courage to point others toward the hope and healing found in Christ. Use my life and testimony to encourage those who are hurting and searching for answers. May I never stay silent about what You can do. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Today’s Power Verse:

“But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;”
Job 35:10

Devotional Thought:
This verse reminds us that even in the darkest seasons, God is still present and able to give hope. “Songs in the night” speaks of a peace and joy that can only come from Him during times of sorrow, confusion, or suffering. It is easy to seek God when life is bright, but the night seasons often reveal how deeply we trust Him. The Lord does not abandon His people in hardship—He meets them there with comfort, strength, and reminders of His faithfulness. Even when tears fall, He can place a song in the heart that the darkness cannot silence. The same God who watches over the day is faithful through the night as well.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for staying near to me in every dark and difficult season. When my heart feels heavy, remind me that You are able to give songs in the night. Fill me with peace, hope, and confidence in Your faithfulness. Help me trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Ten things automatically happen when you attend your church on Sunday. 💒

1. You publicly demonstrate where your priorities truly are.

2. You see people you would likely never encounter apart from church.

3. Your pastor is encouraged simply by seeing you faithful in your place. (Yes—attendance still matters.)

4. Your opportunities to serve increase because availability always precedes usefulness.

5. You hear the Word preached and your soul is fed by Scripture.

6. You become aware of needs and are given opportunities to give.

7. You hear the pages of God’s Word turning throughout the service, one of the best sounds on earth.

8. You hear a baby cry, and instead of being annoyed, you smile, because that is the sound of a growing church.

9. You sing with God’s people and worship Jesus together.

10. You are given repeated chances to put others before yourself, especially in a full sanctuary and a crowded parking lot.

Today’s Power Verse:

“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
Psalm 145:18

Devotional Thought:
This verse is a beautiful reminder of how close God truly is. He is not distant or unreachable—He draws near to those who sincerely call on Him. It’s not about perfect words or polished prayers, but a genuine heart that seeks Him in truth. In every moment of need, joy, or quiet longing, God is present and attentive. Today, call on Him with an honest heart and rest in the comfort that He is near.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being near to me whenever I call on You. Help me come to You with sincerity and truth, not just words. Remind me today that I am never alone, because Your presence is always with me. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Today’s Power Verse:

“Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.”
Isaiah 3:10

Devotional Thought:
This verse is a comforting promise spoken in the middle of troubling times. While judgment and difficulty surrounded the nation, God still gave assurance to those who remained faithful to Him. The righteous are reminded that their future is secure in the hands of God and that obedience is never wasted. Though circumstances may look uncertain, the Lord sees every act of faithfulness and promises that it shall be well. His people may endure trials, but they are never forgotten or abandoned. In every season, God honors those who trust and walk with Him.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the assurance that it shall be well with those who trust in You. Help me remain faithful even when circumstances seem uncertain. Strengthen my heart to walk in righteousness and confidence in Your promises. May my life bear fruit that honors You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
