Hey everyone,
Since our last event was a success, I've already booked the Fred Erxleben Recreation Center, located at 513 Richmond St., Elizabeth, NJ 07202. The event will be held on Monday, October 2nd, from 6-9 PM.
I attended the City Council meeting this Monday and extended an invitation to our councilmen/woman, of which, 3 immediately marked the date and time.
With flyers, the permit, and snacks, the last event cost approximately $200. This time around, I don't think we'll do flyers, but I would like to do something better in the food department.
It doesn't cost much, but activism does have a cost. I understand times are hard for most of us. But, I'm quite sure we all have an extra $5 we can chip in for a cause we believe in. If you don't have it, please share this campaign, so you might attract others that have it to give.
I'm not one to ask much of anyone, and I will never ask something of someone that I can't or won't do myself. I'm asking for your help in doing something we all wish to see done! Let's !
