Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Elizabeth City We are a Christ centered community of faith of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a member of the North Carolina Synod of the ELCA.

Our Mission is "Growing by Grace, Serving in Faith, Sharing God's Story." We gather to worship, grow in faith, serve our neighbors, and to play together. Our church is guided by Holy Scripture (the Bible), the Nicene, Athanasian, and Apostle's Creeds, and the Lutheran Confessions. We believe in the priesthood of all believers. ion. At Good Shepherd, we celebrate Eucharist every Sunday barring unusual circumstances, and ALL are welcome at God's table of grace, mercy, and forgiveness. We believe that we are made a new creation in Christ in the waters of Baptism. We take great joy in baptizing persons of all ages (and we give thanks to God for the gift of Baptism). See Luther's Small Catechism for more information. Our worship is every Sunday at 10. During the seasons of Lent and Advent, we usually gather on Wednesday evenings for soup suppers and worship. We give thanks to God for the culture of flexibility, innovation, and hospitality that exists among the people at Good Shepherd. Good Shepherd is always changing because God is always doing something new in our midst. Come be a part of that. You are welcome. You are beloved.
