Today we again looked at Paul's Epistle to the Philippians.
We opened the word to Philippians 2:11-18. These seven verses are some what unique because they touch on the subject of salvation. So first and foremost we need to keep in mind that salvation is deliverance from our old way of thinking and living and turning to God thru Christ. Salvation is of God--- it is God who saved us and delivered us. "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God"

In looking at these verses we need to see that Paul is showing us that our salvation is not stagnant or complacent. Paul gives us 6 works in which we should be involved in.
The first work. Vs 12
To work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
The second work. Vs. 13
To obey.
The third work.Vs. 14
The believer is to work out their salvation without grumbling and disputing.
The fourth work. Vs. 15
The believer is to work out their salvation by working at being pure.
The fifth work. Vs. 16
The believer is to wok out their salvation by working at witnessing.
The sixth work. Vs. 17,18
The believer is to work out their salvation by following the example of sacrificial labor.
