🌈 New Beginnings, New Promises 🌈

This Sunday, we begin again with the Narrative Lectionary, Year 1, as we enter the story of Noah, the flood, and God’s covenant represented by the rainbow in the sky.

The God who created all things, who was saddened by what humanity had become and sent the flood, is also the God of second chances—the God who chooses not to destroy, but to renew. God is the God of new beginnings, grace, mercy, and promise.

And we are invited to be co-creators of those new beginnings—bringing new ways of life, hope, healing, and love into the world.

Join us this Sunday as we explore God’s grace and mercy, and consider how we can live into God’s promises and help create a more hopeful future. 💙🌍

Sometimes fear and uncertainty can make us hesitate to take the next step. But what if nothing is truly preventing us from moving forward?

Everyone Belongs.

The book of Acts tells stories of the early church—stories of identity, belonging, and who gets to decide who belongs.

God’s answer is expansive: everyone belongs.

Philip saw this in the Ethiopian eu**ch. He could find no reason to withhold baptism. So, on a wilderness road, the Ethiopian stopped the chariot, and both men went down into the water.

No long examination.
No list of questions.
No barriers to belonging.

Only trust—and the mystery of Christ, whose good news is for all who believe.

What might it look like for us to make room for God’s expansive love today?

This Sunday, let’s get together and witness loudly.

Jesus met people during his earthly life who saw him and understood that, in his presence, they were experiencing something divine. They saw Jesus. They GOT Jesus.

Imagine what it felt like for Jesus to ride into Jerusalem and lock eyes with those who recognized who he was—the multitudes who had witnessed his deeds of power and shouted:

“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!”

What a crowd.

A group of ordinary people who, together, became a powerful voice. Their voices rattled the empire. They were told to be silent, but they wouldn’t be silenced.

What might happen when we gather as a crowd of people who GET IT—who hear Jesus’ words, recognize God’s work, and know we can’t do it alone?

Join us this Sunday as we gather, worship, and witness together to God’s great deeds of power.

It’s not the money.
It’s the listening.
