As we reflect on the sacrificial death of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we ask that you join us for our Good Friday service on April 18th @ 6:30pm.

"Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.

Please join us for the 4th Sunday of Advent on 12/22 @ 10:30am! We are located at - 2700 W. Highland Ave. Elgin, IL 60124.
During our service we will read Isaiah 9:6-7 and John 14:27 and will light the fourth candle, which is the final purple candle. This candle is called the “Angel’s Candle" and symbolizes peace. It reminds us of the message of the angels: “Peace on earth, good will toward men.”

A reminder for next Tuesday, 12/24, when we will have our annual Christmas Eve Carols & Candlelight service.

The third candle of Advent symbolizes Joy. 🕯We remember the joyful anticipation of the shepherds who journeyed to see Jesus in Bethlehem after the angels had appeared to them.

"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” 15 When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger."
