🚧🏡 SOMETHING BIG IS COMING, ELGIN! 🏡🚧

The sign says it all… and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌

Elgin Methodist Church is preparing for an exciting new chapter as we get ready to make our new property the future home of our church family!

We’re dreaming, praying, planning, and working toward what’s next. We believe God has more in store for Elgin Methodist Church, and we can’t wait to see what He does in and through this place for years to come!

This isn’t just about a building. It’s about making room for people to encounter Jesus, find community, grow in faith, and serve our city.

A new home. A renewed vision. The same mission.

❤️ Love Loud.
✝️ Live Truth.
🙌 Serve Bold.

Elgin, we’re just getting started! Stay tuned for more updates!

🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL! ELGIN METHODIST CHURCH HAS A NEW HOME! 🏡

On Wednesday, October 7, we officially closed on our new property!

Since launching in May 2023, God has faithfully led our church through every season. There have been challenges, unexpected turns, and plenty of steps of faith along the way. Through it all, God has continued to open doors and provide a way forward.

And now, we have a place to call home!

This milestone represents so much more than a building. It represents an opportunity to put down roots, make room for more people, serve our community, and create a place where lives are transformed by the love of Jesus.

We are especially grateful for the leadership and faithful service of our Admin Council Chair, Jerry Abel; our Church Treasurer, Leah Douglas; and our Trustees Chair, Monty Moke, who were part of the closing process. Thank you for helping us take this important step forward!

And to everyone who has prayed, given, served, encouraged, and believed in this vision — THANK YOU. This is a church family effort, and we are grateful for every person who has played a part in this journey.

There is still work ahead, but we are moving forward with faith and excitement! We are working toward celebrating our first worship service at the new property on Christmas Eve, and we cannot wait to see what God has in store.

Elgin, we’re making room for what God wants to do next!

❤️ Love Loud. Live Truth. Serve Bold.

🙏 A CALL TO PRAYER

As powerful storms impact communities, we are lifting up every family, every first responder, and every community in the path of these storms.

Lord, be their refuge in the middle of the storm. Protect those in danger, give wisdom to emergency crews, bring peace to those who are afraid, and provide shelter for those who have lost their homes. Strengthen those working around the clock to help others, and surround every affected community with people ready to serve, give, and love.

We pray for protection, provision, and restoration in the days ahead. May those who are hurting experience the comfort of God’s presence and the compassion of His people.

Church, let’s not only talk about the power of prayer—let’s stop right now and pray. And as opportunities arise, let’s be ready to put our prayers into action.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 (NLT)

Lord, have mercy. Bring protection, peace, and hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen. ❤️🙏
