Pentecost Sunday ☦️

Today, the Holy Church celebrates the great feast of Pentecost — the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles like tongues of fire, fulfilling the promise of Christ.

The fearful disciples became bold preachers of the Gospel, and the Church was revealed openly to the world. Through the Holy Spirit, humanity is no longer divided, but united in Christ.

Pentecost reminds us that the Christian life cannot be lived by human strength alone. The Holy Spirit comforts us in sorrow, strengthens us in weakness, guides us in truth, and transforms our hearts through prayer, repentance, and love.

As we celebrate this sacred feast, may the fire of the Holy Spirit dwell within us also — renewing our faith, strengthening our hearts, and leading us closer to Christ and His Holy Church.

“O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth… come and abide in us.” Amen. ☦️
