As families prepare to send their children back to school and Religious Education, it is fitting that we pray this Back-to-School novena. Let us pray!🙏🏽

✨ As we begin our novena, we remember that our God is a God of hope, mercy, and possibility. He is the source of all growth and the foundation of all we do. Today, let us place the 2026-27 school year in His loving hands.

For each day of this novena, offer a pray (Our Father, Hail Mary, or your favorite family prayer) for the suggested intention.

Today’s Prayer Intention: For all students, families, teachers, and staff preparing for the year ahead.

🙏 Joining us in prayer today? Like or comment: "Praying with you.”

🌿 This novena is adapted from Busted Halo's 9-Day Back-to-School Prayer Challenge.

Couples preparing to be married in a Catholic church in the Diocese of Fort Worth will be asked to complete a Natural Family Planning class. Why Natural Family Planning? Part of the design for a married couple is that they share of each other intimately – emotionally, spiritually, and physically. That physical intimacy should take into consideration the nature and purpose of the marriage act as God intended it to be. Natural Family Planning fosters love and respect for the couple as well as openness to God’s plan for the couple.

A brief introduction to Natural Family Planning, the types of methods, available classes, and instructors is shared on the Diocese of Fort Worth website.

Catholic churches and schools are living communities where faith is formed, sacraments are celebrated, and lives are transformed.

Help sustain these sacred places for generations to come through planned giving. A simple bequest can make a profound impact in supporting everything from Catholic education to ministry outreach. “I am not my own; I have given myself to Jesus. He must be my only love.” //St. Kateri Tekakwitha

Feast Day: July 14
Canonized: 2021

As we celebrate the Feast of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, pray for hearts and souls to follow Saint Kateri Tekakwitha's example of finding all happiness and fulfillment in the love of Jesus. She experienced rejection in her village for her faith, and yet she devoted herself fully to Christ.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha put herself completely in God’s hands, often spending full days in adoration of the Eucharist. Even in her final days of suffering, she kept her eyes on God and trusted in His will. Let us follow St. Kateri’s example and put all our worries and wishes in God’s hands.🙌😇
