Mark chapter 6 starting in verse 54. When they got out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him. And ran about that whole country and began to carry here and there on their pallets those who were sick, to the place they heard He was. Wherever He entered villages, or cities, or countryside, they were laying the sick in the marketplaces, and imploring Him that they might just touch the fringe of his cloak, and as many as touched it were being cured. Immediately they recognized him immediately they started bringing people to him! You know him now bring people to him. I have one thing to do today, that is follow him. Mark chapter 5 starting in verse 31. And His disciples said to him, You see the crowd pressing in on You and You say, who touched Me. And He looked around to see the woman who had done this. But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace and be healed of your affliction. We have faith in Jesus that when we die we are going to heaven. We need to use that faith in Jesus to get us through this life, through this day. I have one thing to do today, that is follow him. The rest will take care of itself. Mark chapter 4 starting in verse 38. Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on a cushion, and they woke Him and said to Him, Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing? And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, HUSH BE STILL. And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith? Same exact story from KJV to NAS but I love it more, I love it became PERFECTLY CALM. Not just a great calm but perfectly. Not just you have no faith but DO YOU STILL HAVE NO FAITH. Sometimes in the storms of life I'm looking for perfectly calm, great calm may not be enough. And on the faith scale after 53 years I'm still fearful and would be considered having none. If a mustard seed of faith could move a mountain how much could I have. Lord increase my faith I can't seem to do it on my own. In a world of storms help me find a perfect calm. Mark chapter 3 starting in verse 3. He said to the man with the withered hand, get up and come forward! And He said to them, is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the sabbath, to save life or to kill? But they kept silent. After looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He said to the man, stretch out your hand, And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. I think some of us believe we are doing good and Jesus is proud of us. I believe Jesus would be grieved at my hardness of heart. What good did it do for those men to be in the synagogue and not want Jesus to fix that man's hand. What good did it do for us to be in church yesterday if we are not going to live it today. Love God More, Love Your Neighbor More. I have one thing to do today, that is follow him. The rest will take care of itself. Mark chapter 2 starting in verse 1. When He had come back to Capernaum several days afterward, it was heard that He was at home. And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room, not even near the door, and He was speaking the word to them. And they came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four men. Being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him, and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying. And Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, son your sins are forgiven. He forgave his sins first, that would have been enough. But how great that he told him to pick up his pallet and walk. It's Sunday get to church hopefully there won't be enough room. I have one thing to do today, that is follow him. The rest will take care of itself. Mark chapter 1 starting in verse 32. When evening came, after the sun had set, they began bringing to Him all who were ill and those who were demon possessed. And the whole city had gathered at the door. And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons, and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was. The whole city was at the door. I would love to see Lebanon looking for Jesus, everyone seeking him, trying to catch a glimpse of him. What a joy it would be if all of Lebanon was at the churches tomorrow. Mathew chapter 28 starting in verse 18. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Mathew chapter 1 says his name shall be called Immanuel, which means God with us. Here at the end of Mathew, Jesus says I am with you always. Take some peace and comfort with that. God with us always. Become a disciple,Go make some disciples. I have one thing to do today, that is follow him. The rest will take care of itself.
