Pictures from the Eldora Circuit Easter SON Rise Service on the beach at Lake Nummy, in the Belleplain State Forest. We had over 50 people in attendance. Since the rain held off we were able to bring the antique pump organ over from the church.

I have had a few people ask about weather. The Easter SON Rise service at 7:00 at Lake Nummy in Belleplain State Forest is on rain or shine. In the unlikely event we get some rain the service will take place under the picnic pavilion at the same beach location.

7 year old Ava gave the benediction at Eldora Methodist Church this past Sunday and she did magnificent. Some adults wouldn't get up in front of the congregation and do as well. I have always felt our children need to be involved in the operation of the church from a young age to aide in growing their faith and their own relationship with Jesus.

3 worship services Easter Sunday.
*7:00 AM beach at Lake Nummy in the Belleplain State Forest. We will have spirited singing with an antique pump organ on the beach and dynamic expository preaching followed by a time of Christian fellowship with coffee and pastry. *9:45 AM traditional Easter Sunday worship at Eldora Methodist Church.
*11:00 AM traditional Easter Sunday worship at Belleplain Methodist Church.
The organ for the outdoor lakeside service is being loaned to us compliments of Quigley Pianos. .................
TWO services on Easter...... YOU ARE INVITED..... 7:00 AM at Lake Nummy in the Belleplain State Forest rain or shine (in the event of rain the service will be under the adjacent picnic pavilion) and 9:45 AM at Eldora Methodist Church.
DIRECTIONS for Lake Nummy:
For GPS enter.. Kevin's Kitchen, Dennis NJ... and it will take you right to the parking lot for the beach at Lake Nummy where the service will be held. Lake Nummy is located in the Belleplain State Forest. Enter the state forest through the main entrance turning off of Woodbine Avenue onto Henkensifkin Road. Follow Henkensifkin Road to Meisle Road turn right onto Meisle Road. Meisle Road wraps around Lake Nummy as you look across the lake you will see the beach where the Easter Service will be held follow Meisle Road around the lake and then make a right turn onto Champion Road. The first parking lot on your right is the parking lot for the beach service. After the service coffee and pastry will be available in the adjacent picnic pavilion for a time of fellowship. You are invited to a spirited HYMN SING Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Eldora Methodist Church. Featuring YOUR requests, a special number by local talent, and outstanding soprano Mary Jane Dolly and Bill Yerkes bass section leader of the Williamstown Methodist Church Choir. Jim Carson will be our guest pianist once again sharing his gift and playing the keys off the piano. Cape-Atlantic District Superintendent Derrick Doherty will be the liturgist.
