September is here, and there’s plenty happening at Ninth Street this week!

Wednesday | Peak of the Week
Come for supper and stay for classes and activities for all ages! This week’s menu is pizza or BBQ meatball sandwiches with green beans.

Friday | MOMS Group
Moms, come enjoy a morning of connection, encouragement, and time with other moms.

Sunday | Donuts + Worship
Grab a donut, enjoy some fellowship, and join us for worship as we spend time in Psalm 127.

Sunday | Night Light
Middle School & High School students, Night Light is for you! Come spend the evening connecting and having some fun together.

Hey Church! Here is your weekly update!

PEAK OF THE WEEK IS BACK!
Today is our Peak of the Week kickoff, and there’s something for all ages! Join us for supper and stay for kids’ programming, Middle School, High School, Adult classes, and GriefShare.

Supper: 5:45 p.m.
Kids Classes: 6:15 p.m
Adult Classes: 6:30 p.m.

Note for parents: All children 5th grade and younger must be checked in. Nursery is available. Children are also encouraged to bring their Bibles with them for class time. Parents, please make sure your child’s name is written inside their Bible so we can make sure wandering Bibles find their way home. 🙂

ADULT CLASS - ROOM 101
Big Questions that Build Big Faith
The story of the Bible reveals the answers to life’s biggest questions. Discovering these answers is the starting point of faith and the path of a faithful life. We invite you to join us as we meet God in the lives of the men and women of Scripture.

GRIEFSHARE - ROOM 105 - 6:00–7:30 p.m.
GriefShare is a nondenominational, biblical class for adults dealing with the death of a loved one. You can join at any time. To register, call the NSCC Office at 573-392-4685.

A quick heads-up for our Young Adults: your 10:30 class will NOT meet this Sunday, August 23. The class will resume the following Sunday, August 30.

Grief doesn’t follow a schedule. And you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.

Maybe your loss happened a few weeks ago.
Maybe it’s been several years.
Maybe everyone around you seems to have moved forward, but some days it still feels incredibly close. There is a place for you at GriefShare.

Beginning Wednesday, August 26, Ninth Street Christian Church will host GriefShare, a 13-week, Christ-centered support group for people grieving the death of a loved one.

GriefShare combines helpful weekly video teaching with a supportive group setting where you can learn practical ways to navigate the emotions, questions, and challenges that often come with grief.

Hey church, here’s your weekly update!

Whew, it’s a HOT one this week! If the heat and the busyness of August have you feeling a little worn down, and you need a little midweek encouragement:

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Stay cool, drink your water, check on your neighbors, and remember where our strength comes from! Have a great rest of your week, NSCC. We’ll see you Sunday!

Hey Church, here's your weekly update!
As we head into a busy week, we'd love for you to pray for Jesus Prom. Pray for our honored guests, the volunteers and that everyone who walks through the doors on Saturday experiences the love of Jesus in a real and unforgettable way.

Wednesday, July 29
Middle School & High School students will decorate for Jesus Prom. 5:30p - 8:30p (Pizza provided for supper).

Saturday, August 1
Jesus Prom: Thank you to everyone who has donated soda and fun-size candy. We are still needing more! Please drop off donations at the church office during business hours (10am -2pm)!

Sunday, August 2
Join us for CIY Youth Sunday as our students share what God did in their lives at CIY this summer. We'll be serving pancakes between services.
It's going to be a great morning together
