How do we avoid falling into the rigidity and legalism of the pharisees? How do we live in the freedom of Christ?

"First, give to God what belongs to God. What matters more than anything else, is love and service to God and others. If that is our primary focus every day...then everything else falls into its proper place." (From Fr. Max's homily, weekend of 10/18)

Today, love the people that God puts in your path. Give thanks for them, and seek to honor Him with your love. It is, as Fr. Max says, the 'radical option of love', a 'radical law'. I know it doesn't seem like it will be enough. But this is what Jesus asks of us, to love radically, every day. Trust Him.
