YOUTHWORKS TRIP! Parent's meeting Wednesday, September 28th @ 5pm, United Lutheran Church.

The Youth Group has picked their 2017 Mission Trip Location!!! 8th - 12th Grades
6th - 7th Grades come hear about DULUTH! (If a parent will lead that group!)

WHO:
8th - 12th graders and their parents if they wish
YOUTHWORKS Christian Mission, Minneapolis, MN

WHEN:
July 16th - July 22nd, 2017

WHERE:
North Cheyenne, Montana

WHAT:
Workers will be working at a construction site building on American Indian Land. They will be facilitating sports programs for youth in the area as well as spending some time learning the culture of the area. They will be also touring sites along the way and during the trip as well as participating in cultural events put on. Workers will be hosted by Youthworks and sleeping at a local church as well as
fed by the community. youthworks.com

HOW:
Youthworks requests a base price of $299 per person for the week. Additional costs will be determined once transportation is established as well as additional
site seeing activities. FUND REQUESTS will be made as well as opportunities to earn funds will occur.

COMMITMENT:
Come to a parent meeting on Wednesday Sept 28th to hear more and place a $50 deposit down on the trip.

Parents' Meeting tonight @ 6pm @ United Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall for those going to the ELCA Rise Up Convention in Detroit, MI. It shouldn't be long- just going over packing info, get your t-shirts for the trip, and answer any questions you may have. See you tonight! ~ Dawn

Silent Auction items by our FABULOUS Youth !! Visit United Lutheran Church during the month of October to place your bids. Baked desserts, tech help, lawn work, jewelry, scarves, a beautiful dish set, family photo session, just to name a few things. $$ raised goes to support the ULC Youth for their trip to Detroit, MI July 2015.
