Eliam's CWC would love to invite you to our annual Mother's Day Salad Supper on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM. Gather your friends and join us for a evening celebrating the incredible women who raised us, supported us, and encouraged us.

If you would like to make donation in honor or memory of the women in your life to be included in our annual Mother's Day Booklet, you can message the page or reach out to Karen Hayes. Money raised goes to special mission projects or needs for the church.

Busy time at Eliam! Here's what's going on:

March 29 Worship Palm Sunday at 10:30.
Lunch at Casa Grande around 12:00
Easter Egg Hunt at 3:00 with snacks and kites.

April 2 Maundy Thursday Worship at 6:00 pm.

April 3 Good Friday Worship at 6:00 pm.

April 5 Sunrise Service at 7:00 pm followed by coffee and pastries.
Easter Worship at 10:30 am.

Tomorrow, we will host our annual 🥣 Souper Bowl Luncheon 🥣 featuring a variety of different soups... chili, chicken'n dumplings, zuppa toscanan, and many more! 😋

You are welcome to come after your worship service. Donations are accepted but not required. Money goes to help with local missions.

Happy Thanksgiving! So thank for this recognition from Bridging Faith Gaps. We are glad we can help! We had over 20 cakes donated. Our small congregation can do mighty things!

We're going to be busy! Mark your calendar!
March 30 Van headed to Simply Us immediately after worship (1583 Sweet City Road, Elberton) for lunch. Meats and vegetables are served cafeteria style. This is will be our 5th Sunday event. We will not host a 5th Sunday night singing.
April 13 Easter Egg Hunt 3 pm
April 20 Sunrise Service at 7 am. Coffee and pastries after service.
Plus ALL of our usual stuff!

Such a good man.

We join the world in mourning the loss of former president Jimmy Carter. A man of deep faith, we celebrate his inspirational legacy of humble service to his fellow human beings in both word and deed.

Pictured here delivering the opening remarks at Global Ministries’ 2018 Roundtable for Peace on the Korean Peninsula, President Carter bears witness to the power of “making peace happen” through global collaboration.

Global Ministries and UMCOR will honor his legacy by working, by God’s grace, to make peace throughout the world.

It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Don't lose focus on the reason Jesus came and the example Jesus set for Christians to follow. There is still work to be done!

Eliam continues to give back to the community. This Sunday several members participated in Bridging Faith Gaps' Thanksgiving Meal at the Blackwell Memorial Gym. Many more members contributed by baking and slicing pound cakes (19) to be served at the meal. Overall, 789 plates were served! The community was able to enjoy meals, fellowship, resources, and clothing to prepare for the winter. This is a great example of being the hands and feet of Christ!
