Welcome, Davlin Smith, our new Choir Director! Davlin is from Athens, GA, and she is a graduate of GA State with a Bachelor of Music. She has over 20 years of experience directing church choirs, mostly in Methodist churches, and has recently moved back to GA from Pennsylvania. Davlin said, “My favorite quote is 'Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.’ - Psalm 98:4 (KJV) It doesn't matter your talent, music and praise comes from the heart! So sing out LOUD!”

🌴🌺WOW GOD! ✝☀

What an incredible way to end Vacation Bible School! Last night, we learned that God is love and were reminded that His faithful love endures forever.

As we look back at this week, we are so thankful for every child who attended and every family who entrusted us with their children. We enjoyed every moment building relationships and learning more about God's amazing love.

We want to give a special thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this week a success! None of this is possible without YOU, and your dedication helped create an unforgettable week that will leave a lasting impact on the lives of these children.

We're sad to see Rainforest Falls come to an end... but we are super excited for what's ahead! Be on the lookout, as we are already preparing for next year and will be making an announcement soon!

🐆 Day 3 at Rainforest Falls VBS was filled with fun, faith, and a powerful reminder of God's love!

Last night, we met Dottie the Ocelot and learned that God Is Our Safe Place. Through our Bible lessons, worship, games, and crafts, we discovered that no matter what we face, we can always turn to God for comfort, peace, and refuge.

Our memory verse reminded us of this wonderful truth:

"Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say, 'You are my place of refuge.'" - Psalm 142:5

It has been amazing to watch our explorers grow in their faith, build new friendships, and experience the love of Jesus throughout the week.

🐸 Day 2 of Rainforest Falls VBS was amazing!
We learned that God Knows Everything through Psalm 139. Alongside Seymour the Glass Frog, our explorers discovered that God knows us completely: our thoughts, our hearts, and every detail of our lives. What a comfort it is to know that we are fully known and deeply loved by Him!

The adventure continues tonight with God Is Our Safe Place! We'll meet Dottie the Ocelot and learn how we can find comfort, peace, and refuge in God's presence.

We can't wait to continue the adventure!

🌿 What an incredible first day of Rainforest Falls VBS at Elberton First Methodist Church!

Last night, we learned that God Is Our Creator and celebrated the amazing world He made. From exciting games and crafts to energetic worship and Bible Adventures, it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and learning about God's love.
