Have you ever noticed this?

The scariest part of Noah’s Ark wasn’t the flood…
it was the design.

God gave exact measurements.
He chose the wood.
He sealed it perfectly.

But there was no steering wheel.
No sail.
No engine.
No captain’s chair.

Because the Ark was never meant to be steered.
It was meant to be trusted.

Noah didn’t know where the waters would take him.
He didn’t control the storm.
He didn’t decide the destination.

He simply obeyed…
and stepped inside.

And when the rain began to fall, Scripture says God Himself shut the door.

Noah wasn’t in charge of the journey.
He was safe in the hands of the One who was.

And maybe that’s the reminder we need today.

Sometimes God doesn’t give us the wheel.
Not because He’s careless, but because He’s faithful.
Because what He’s calling us to trust Him with was never meant to be controlled, only surrendered.

We keep trying to steer what God already promised to carry.
We panic when we can’t see where we’re going.
We forget that the same God who designed the Ark…
designed the outcome.

If He called you into it,
He will carry you through it.

Let go.
Rest.
Float in faith.

God is still in control. 🤍🙏🏻

“When efficiency becomes the ultimate measure of value, human beings are tempted to see themselves as a project to be optimized rather than as persons called to relationship and communion.” —Pope Leo XIV

Hail, Holy Queen,
Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn, then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this, our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Amen.

We often try to navigate life’s storms on our own breath, quickly running out of air. The hard truth is that we weren't meant to survive on our own strength. The Holy Spirit is the literal breath of the soul, providing the oxygen of grace we need to truly live.

Pray with your family. That’s where the world begins to change.

We try to live the Christian life on our own strength, but the hard truth is that we will always burn out without the fire of God. Pentecost is the reminder that the Church was born in power, not in passive waiting.

Open your heart to the Holy Spirit's guidance today. Let Him empower your witness. Click the link in our bio to join us in daily prayer and preparation.

The Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord commemorates the fortieth day after the Resurrection when Jesus ascended body and soul into Heaven and took His seat at the right hand of His Father. Traditionally, the location of the Ascension is believed to be less than a mile east of the Old City of Jerusalem, and that spot is marked by the Chapel of the Ascension, which is said to contain a miraculous imprint of the footprints of Christ before He ascended.

Only Jesus and His Blessed Mother have entered into the glories of Heaven, body and soul. Jesus’ Ascension implies that He did so by His own authority and power. The Blessed Virgin Mary’s Assumption implies that she entered Heaven, body and soul, by God’s power, and not her own.
