This past week, Drexel from WKRG news here in Mobile/Pensacola visited Toby Moore, who so graciously provides us with recorded praise music and hymns on days he feels ok for our worship services. Drexel did one of her "Drexel On the Road" pieces about Toby's faith journey since his brain cancer prognosis eight years ago. We have all been praying for Toby and I wanted to share this news clip with you all. (Diana) Please continue your prayers, especially since his cancer has returned.

Foundations is an opportunity for campers to experience camp with a member of their support system. Get into the word together, roast a marshmallow, play some dodgeball, and marvel in God's Creation. These weekend camps are open to grades K-8 who are accompanied by a same gendered adult (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.) We believe that it is important for kids to have sound foundations at home - adults who will encourage them in their faith and remind them of what Christ has done for us. Help us equip your family and spend the weekend out at Camp Dixie!

SERVE & SWIM ON September 13th. Youth and families have the opportunity to help clean-up following Camp Dixie’s chicken dinner from 1:30-2:30pm. Then change into your suit and swim or join in a game of beach volleyball until about 3:30pm. Additional information will be sent to families and Camp Dixie release forms will need to be signed for all participants. Those interested please contact Mary Oldenburg by Sunday, September 6th.

NEW CLASSES START IN SEPTEMBER for children and youth. We will celebrate the beginning of the new year with a special snack and some children will be promoted to new classes. We encourage families to have their children attend to discover God’s promises and love. The same God which protected His people in the narratives of the Bible is still keeping his promises and watching over us today. It is important that they know Him. If you have questions about Sunday school please talk to Kirsten Broussard.

Some of our youth and families gathered after church today for a devotion and songs led by Toby, then we ate yummy pizza, subs, salad, and desserts. Afterwards we went to Country Place Senior Living in Foley to play games with the residents. We played corn hole and Bingo, then sang Jesus Loves Me with them. A very good day!😊
