Camp Dixie Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Camp Dixie Lutheran Outdoor Ministry located on Perdido Bay in Southern Alabama, is a great place to spend your summer!

Camp Dixie is dedicated to be a place where the campers, counselors, and staff members can grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually in a positive way by experiencing and evaluating in an outdoor-based Christ centered program. Campers joining us at Camp Dixie will experience not only the joy of living in a Christian community but we learn ways we can live our lives each and every day through Bible Study sessions. We will also experience all of the traditional camp activities such as sand volleyball, canoeing, arts and crafts, archery, and so much more. Each of our activities is led by our staff of fully trained counselors who lead our summer program with a focus on safety, and having a great tie and of course the love of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Post-Isaias Update: Camp Dixie is in great shape and we are so blessed that the storm left little impact onsite. A couple trees down but no major damage. Let's thank the Lord and continue to pray for those who are repairing damage and waiting for power to be restored. Enjoy this picture of Thursday's sunset.

It's time to register for your spot this retreat season! Find more information and register online.

Foundations is an opportunity for campers to experience camp with a member of their support system. Get into the word together, roast a marshmallow, play some dodgeball, and marvel in God's Creation. These weekend camps are open to grades K-8 who are accompanied by a same gendered adult (parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, etc.) We believe that it is important for kids to have sound foundations at home - adults who will encourage them in their faith and remind them of what Christ has done for us. Help us equip your family and spend the weekend out at Camp Dixie!

We praying for our schools this week as they start their fall semesters. Please join us in praying for safe and effective school years for our campers and their peers. We are especially praying for our local Lutheran schools: Redeemer, Veritas, and Trinity. Have a great first week!
