Susott Cemetery Annual Homecoming

Dear Friends and Family,
Susott Cemetery is the final resting place of many beloved family and friends. If you have not visited the cemetery recently, please do so. I'm sure you will find the care of this cemetery to meet you satisfaction.
The Susott Cemetery is funded by your donations which the officers truly appreciate. At one of our meetings, they voted to use the interest from our CD to supplement the cost of maintenance. Last year the cost to mow the cemetery was over $4000. Due to health reasons, the gentleman who used to mow has resigned. Therefore the cost of maintenance must be increased.
We would like to add more families and friends to our mailing list to possibly increase donations. Any names and addresses that you have would greatly help. Susott Cemetery is funded soley by contributions.
Since some of our families and friends cannot attend the annual homecoming, we will keep them informed of details about meetings, burial plots, and upcoming events through our page which can be found by searching German Evangelical United Immanuel Church Cemetery "Susott Cemetery".
At the last officers' meeting, several items were discussed. One of which was the cost to repair 9 – 12 tombstones that are damaged. The estimated expense is over $1000. Additionally, the middle of the cemetery was designated for babies of our families. We would like to acknowledge this with a small statue of an angel. Cost is $1500.
