Randall was able to get in touch with his family living in Florida and by all accounts other than a little wind damage and being without electricity, everyone is doing well.

Asking for a prayer. We are getting an online prayer circle going. My love to everyone who reads this. Let's pray for each other and all of those affected by hurricane Helene today & incoming Milton because prayers are needed right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to post this status for one hour, to whisper a prayer for all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, or worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of my family and friends. I did it for someone else, and you can too ! 💜🙏🏻💜
I copied & posted to my wall.
Done!! Prayers ongoing.

MEET JESUS

Meet Jesus in the early morning splendor. Jesus eagerly awaits us here. In the stillness of this holy time with Jesus, He renews our strength and saturates us with Peace. While others turn over for extra sleep or anxiuosly tune in to the latest news, we commune with the Creator of the universe. Jesus has awakened in our hearts the strong desire to know Him. This longing originated in Him, though it now burns brightly in us.
When we seek Jesus' Face in response to His Love-call, both us and Jesus are blessed. This is a deep mystery, designed more for our enjoyment than for our understanding. Jesus is not a dour God who discourages pleasure. Jesus delights in our enjoyment of "everything that is true, noble, right, oure, lovely, admirable. Think on these things," and Jesus' Light in us will shine brighter day by day.

"But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

"One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple." Psalms 27:4

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."
Philippians 4:8

JESUS IS THE GOD OF ALL TIME

Jesus is the God of all time and all that is. Seek Him not only in morning quietness but consistently throughout the day. Do not let unexpected problems distract us from Jesus' Presence. Instead, talk with Him about everything, and watch confidently to see what He will do.
Adversity need not interrupt our communion with Jesus. When things go "wrong," we tend to react as if we are being punished. Instead of this negative response, try to view difficultiesas blessings in disguise. "Make Me your Refuge by oiuring out your heart t Me, trusting in Me at all times."

"Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!" Psalms 105:3

"Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice."
Psalms 55:17

"For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him."
Psalms 32:6

"Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah" Psalms 62:8

COME TO JESUS

Come to Jesus when you are weak and weary. Rest snugly in His everlasting arms. Jesus does not despise our weakness. We are His children. Actually, it draws Jesus closer to us because weakness stirs up His compassion-His yearning to help. Accept yourself in your weariness, knowing that Jesus understands how difficult our journey has been.
Do not compare yourself with others who seem to skip along their life-paths with ease. Their journeys have been different from yours, and Jesus has gifted us with fragility, providing opportunities for our spirit to blossom in Jesus' Presence. accept this gift as a sacred treasure: delicate, yet glowing with brilliant Light. Rather than struggling to disguise or deny our weakness, allow Jesus to bless us richly through it.

"A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth." Isaiah 42:3

"'For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, But my kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,' Says the Lord, who has mercy on you." Isaiah 54:10

"Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26

COME TO JESUS

Come to Jesus. Come to Jesus. Come to Jesus. This is Jesus' continual invitation to us, proclaimed in holy whispers. When our hearts and minds are quiet, we can hear Jesus inviting us to draw near. Coming close to Jesus requires no great effort on our part; it is more like ceasing to resist the magnetic pull of Jesus' Love. We should open ourselves to Jesus' loving Presence so that He may fill us with His fullness. Jesus wants us to experience "how wide and long and high and deep is My Love for you so that you can know My Love that surpasses knowledge." This vast ocean of Love cannot be measured or explained, but it can be experienced.

"And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." Revelations 22:17

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." John 6:37

"That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be fill with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16-19

RELAX IN JESUS' HEALING

Relax in Jesus' healing, holy Presence. Allow Him to transform you through this time alone with Him. As our thoughts center more and more on Jesus, trust displaces fear and worry. Our mind is somewhat like a seesaw. As our trust in Jesus goes up, fear and worry automatically go down. Time spent with Jesus not only increases our trust; it also helps us discern what is important and what is not.
Energy and time are precious, limited entities. Therefore, we need to use them wisely, focusing on what is truly important. As we walk close to Jesus, saturating our mind with Scripture, Jesus will show us how to spend our time and energy. "My word is a lamp unto your feet; My Presence is a Light for your path."

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Romans 12:2

"But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever." Psalms 52:8

"See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." Ephesians 5:15-16

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalms 119:105
