Spreading the love of Jesus Ministry We truly believe that food is an effective way for us to serve and connect with our community. Our heart is ministry, feeding people is a bonus!

Spreading the Love of Jesus is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving the San Francisco Bay Area. On a weekly basis, we provide care boxes for individuals or families filled with fresh, frozen, and canned foods. We deliver them right to the door of the family in need. In addition to care boxes, we can deliver delicious warm dinners to individuals or families who aren't able to cook warm meal

s either because of health conditions or financial circumstances. Spreading the Love of Jesus Ministry also hosts bi-weekly outreaches handing out food and toiletries and offering prayer to some of our areas most marginalized citizens. The simple act of providing a sandwich and a smile opens doors for us to share the Good News of a SAVIOR. Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said; "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Today is such a special day for the Gomez familia. ❤️

Twenty-two years ago today, on September 4, 2004, I ran to the altar, desperately pleading with God for a miracle. I wept, cried out, and prayed for my marriage, for my husband, and for our children. Only God and I knew the depth of the pain and suffering our family was enduring.

Drugs and alcohol addiction had a stronghold on my husband, and there were moments when I didn’t know what our future would look like.

BUT GOD! 🙌🏼

God had a different plan. He stepped into our brokenness and completely transformed my husband into a new man in Christ. What once seemed impossible, God made possible. He took our pain, our struggles, and our suffering and turned them into a testimony of His grace, mercy, and faithfulness.

For twenty-two years, we have walked with Jesus, and I can honestly say there is not a day that goes by that I don’t thank God for the life He has given us. He rescued our marriage. He restored our family. He changed our lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 ✝️

We are living proof that God still answers prayers. He still restores. He still delivers. He still makes all things new.

Happy twenty-two years, my love. ❤️

As crazy as it may sound, I would go through it all over again—because if I had never walked through that valley, I may have never truly known the Jesus who met me there.

I am so proud to be your wife. I am grateful for the man you have become, for the family God has entrusted to us, and for every chapter we have walked through together.

And now, I’m even more excited for what God is going to do next in our lives. I know the best is still ahead because our story is in His hands.

The Story Behind Spreading the Love of Jesus Ministry

Sometimes, a single act of kindness can change the course of a person's life.

For me, it began with a Christmas miracle when I was only nine years old.

I can still remember that Christmas as though it happened yesterday. My mother had to work on Christmas Day, and because she had no one to leave us with, my sister and I went with her to help cater her boss's Christmas party.

As we watched the guests enjoying their Christmas dinner, my sister and I sat quietly, feeling the pain of hunger. We had no food waiting for us at home, and my mother didn't have enough money to buy groceries.

When our work was finished, we headed home.

As we approached our apartment, we saw two large black bags sitting outside our door.

My mother was shocked. When she opened the bags, tears immediately streamed down her face. Inside one bag was an abundance of food. Inside the other were Christmas presents.

In that moment, my mother knew that God had heard her prayers.

And as a nine-year-old child, I knew God was real. I knew He heard us.

I remember looking at what God had provided and making a promise to Jesus:

“One day, I want to do the same. I want to bless people the way these people blessed us.”

To this day, I still don't know who placed those bags outside our door. I never had the opportunity to thank them or tell them what their kindness meant to me.

But God knew.

What they planted in our home that Christmas, they also planted in my heart.

They didn't know it at the time, but their generosity became the seed of what would one day become Spreading the Love of Jesus Ministry.

A Seed of Love That Keeps Growing

That childhood experience taught me something I have never forgotten: you never know how far one act of love can reach.

The people who blessed my family may have thought they were simply helping a family in need. But their generosity did much more than provide food and presents that Christmas. They gave a little girl hope. They showed me what compassion looks like. And they inspired a promise that I have carried with me ever since.

Today, that promise lives through this ministry.

We believe there are countless people who are hurting, struggling, hungry, homeless, or simply in need of someone to remind them that they are not forgotten.

We also believe there are countless people, churches, businesses, organizations, and families who are waiting for an opportunity to become that blessing.

Imagine how many ministries could be born from a single act of kindness. Imagine how many lives could be changed when we choose to give. Imagine how many seeds we can plant in the hearts of the next generation.

Let's be that light.

Let's be that helping hand.

Let's be that reminder that God has not forgotten them.

Let's be a ray of light and hope to those who feel hopeless.

What a beautiful day serving our friends in our community. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who chooses to be a friend to those who may feel forgotten, unseen, or unloved. There were many tears today, but also so much love, compassion, and hope. May our Lord continue to bless each and every one of them always. 🙏❤️

Good morning, everyone,

I hope you’re all having a wonderful day so far. I wanted to share a verse that spoke deeply to my heart last night. I found myself reading it again this morning, and as I sat quietly and meditated on the Word of God, I was overwhelmed by the depth of His love for us.

How can a God who created the heavens and the earth love us so deeply? Our Heavenly Father—majestic, mighty, and all-powerful—pauses to hear us when we call upon His name. He sees us. He knows us. He cares for us. Wow… just let that sink in.

I love how Paul describes the immeasurable love of God in this passage. My prayer is that these words speak to your heart as deeply as they spoke to mine. May you experience the love of our Heavenly Father today and truly grasp the power of His love for His people—how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is for you and me.

If we would simply stop for a moment and reflect on all that He has done for us, I believe our hearts would overflow with gratitude, and we would all find ourselves on our knees giving thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ.

I know I am.

Our Savior is worthy of all honor, all glory, and all praise—not just today, but until our very last breath.

May we never lose sight of how deeply we are loved. 🙏🏽❤️

This year will mark 22 years of serving our neighbors. Our goal is always to bring people closer to God, helping them find hope and a future in Jesus. We are not focused on being the best nonprofit in California; we are about Jesus—bringing honor and glory to His name until our last breath. It’s a privilege to serve our neighbors with love. Jorge and I have been volunteers for our ministry since 2004. lol 🤣 No one gets paid to do this, and that’s such a blessing. It’s all because Jesus saved us and rescued our little family and marriage. Serving God’s people is our way of saying thank you, Jesus, for all you have done for us. Our hearts are full of gratitude. Our Lord Jesus Christ deserves all the glory, honor, and praise! Amen!

The annual Back-to-School Drive is underway! We hosted an event last year that supported over 144 children in our community by providing them with essential school supplies, backpacks, snacks, and clothing. Our Back-to-School Drive is scheduled to run from June 13th through July 10th.

It was a day that began with profound peace, knowing many would come to know Jesus and experience transformation. Little did I know, it would become a standout day in our ministry. Sharing my story with a handful of people was a highlight. Leading Isabela to Jesus was an honor. Heaven rejoiced with each decision made. Gratitude fills my heart as I think about God’s gift to us - serving others is a privilege Jorge and I cherish deeply.

Thanks to Lyndsay Darsan and her team for joining us today. We were able to provide over 180 meals, gave out clothing, shoes, toilet and fresh new hair cuts.

Thank you to all who support us through prayer, volunteering, and donations.

We are grateful, we can’t do it this without your prayers and support. To God be all the glory alone.
