FINAL VBS VOLUNTEER METTING

Hello everyone!

We'll have one final & simple volunteer recap meeting for anyone who wishes to attend. We will touch on volunteer roles and any/all questions you might still have, from serving & teaching roles, to decorations, and anything else.

There will be no meal or childcare. SEE YOU SOON

Blessings everyone!!

As VBS soon approaches, I wanted to take a moment and just say, "THANK YOU", to everyone that was able to make it for our recent volunteer gathering and for all who officially stepped into a serving role for VBS. It takes a village, and I am proud to be part of this Village at Heaston!!

Now, we still have a few open slots, and I just wanted to put it out here in case some folks are still considering wanting to be part of our VBS team. The following slots are still open:

- CRAFTS leader & helpers
- GAMES rotation leader & helpers
- DECORTATIONS leader & helpers for MAIN HALLWAY & STAGE (Joel is lead for stage decor & will help in hallway)

Also, if you want to serve without an official VBS job, we will take you!!! It's usually all hands on deck when we have a church full of kiddos for an entire week, so every volunteer is a blessing during this week. Will you consider a servant's heart, and jump in for the children?

If you served last year and want to step in again, we meet next Wednesday for our volunteer meeting.

If your on the fence about serving or have Christian friends that might want to serve, this will be a great night to come and just kick around the possibilities.

Dinner and childcare are provided (RSVP please). Unable to make it? That's ok. Just catch me (Joel) anytime before June via email, messenger, text or call.

Looking to serve again this year at VBS?
Thinking about serving for your first VBS?
Want to serve in some VBS capacity but don't know where yet?
Intimidated by the VBS challenge, but you heart is willing?

No fears. No need for commitments yet, but if you join us on this evening, we hope to brainstorm & "illuminate" what it might/will look like for any and all who will take the light of Jesus to the children this June. Bring your questions & ideas, so that God shine His will as we prepare & gear up for the precious children who will pass through our VBS doors.

More info coming soon for a VBS volunteer meeting sometime in April. If you've served in the past in some capacity & would like to do so again, or are interested for this year, find me (Joel) at church, or reach out to me. Registration will also be up soon.

Can't wait to see Jesus shine this summer at Heaston VBS!!
