So many hearts around me are longing for transformation.
We ask:
When, Lord?
When will You bring healing to this ache?
When will You restore what feels broken?
When will clarity come, or new life finally begin?
If I’m honest, I’m asking these questions too.
That’s why this sacred day of Pentecost ~ the day we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit ~ stirs hope in my weary heart.
Because this is the day everything changed. ❤️🩹
The Holy Spirit came ~ not to the strong or the certain, but to those hidden in fear, overwhelmed by grief, confused and waiting…and waiting…and waiting. 🧎🏻♀️➡️
He came. 🔥
And He still comes.
The same Spirit who rushed into that Upper Room comes to meet us in our own hidden places ~ in the chaos, in the quiet, in the questions, in the waiting.
He moved then, and He’ll move again.
He ignited hearts then, and He’ll set ours ablaze now.
That’s His promise.
Those first disciples were transformed ~ not by their own strength, but by the power of the Spirit. And today, you and I can be transformed, too.
We may currently be tired, anxious, or uncertain. But we can be renewed, healed, empowered ~ hearts on fire with His love and presence.
So would you join me?
Let’s open our hearts and hands to the Spirit.
Let’s invite His refining fire.
Let’s say yes to more of Him ~ stirred, filled, and forever changed.
Here’s to God doing it again ~ in us, around us, and through us.
