The St. George community of El Paso invites you to experience the flavors, traditions, and love that go into every handmade pastry at our 61st Feast of the Middle East, taking place September 12–13, 2026 in El Paso, Texas.
Among the many beloved baked goods lovingly prepared by our parishioners, inquirers, and volunteers is Atayef. Atayef is a cherished Middle Eastern treat that is as delicious as it is traditional.
Delicately folded and baked to perfection, our Atayef brings together the perfect balance of sweet and savory. A rich, creamy filling of ricotta and mozzarella cheese is complemented by a luscious homemade syrup, prepared from a cherished recipe passed down through generations.
