New Beginning Community Ministries

This ministry was founded in 1995 by Pastors David and Donna Diaz. It is a growing ministry that is dedicated to serving the community and to seeing families restored and equipped by sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry offers both individual and family counseling to nourish and strengthen families, and provides hands-on assistance such as food and clothing as needed. It

also works as liaison in linking people to community and city agencies. Prayer is a fundamental component of this ministry. Our church opens its doors each morning six days a week at 5:00 a.m. for early morning prayer. Members come together to start each day in prayer, praise, worship and thanksgiving. Weekly Cell Groups were established in the homes of church members throughout Los Angeles County where people get together to share the Word of God and to pray for the needs of the community and the nation at large. Cell group teams also reach out to others in their communities through evangelism and prayer walking in order to bring them to Christ. We strongly believe in discipleship and have a thriving children’s ministry designed to teach young children strong morals and Biblical values that will guide them through life. The youth ministry focuses on imparting the living Word of God and working with young people in order to produce the hope, faith and determination needed to keep them going forward in the right direction. Our desire is to see them successfully fulfill God's purpose for their lives and to prepare them for future service in ministry. Discipleship training classes are held for men and women on a bi-weekly basis. The women’s ministry, AWAKE – All Women Arise to Kingdom Excellence, was birthed from a desire to provide the training necessary for women to grow and mature; to fulfill their calling and to train others, so that together they may reach their destiny in Christ! New Beginnings also networks with pastors from cities throughout Los Angeles to pray and offer support to one other. They also conduct State-wide prayer seminars and conferences to inspire Christians to passionately seek God so that we may see a mighty move of God's Spirit in Southern California.
