Summer Blast 2026 started last night with Bible and Cards. First we talked about the 10 Plagues that God gave to Egypt so that Pharaoh would free the Israelites from slavery and so that all the people would know that God is THE Lord. We saw how God revealed his mighty power and his love for His people. Following the Bible story we played a card game called Egyptian Rat Slap (which according to the video I'm sharing it is also called Egyptian Rat Screw). In the video are the instructions on how to play. We called the cards letter cards (J, Q, K, A) and Number cards (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.). Have fun playing this game as a family. I want to know who won. This Sunday in Kids' Church (for grades 1st-6th) We will finish our ARTRAGEOUS Series with a Paint and Praise Time. Students will be using Crayola Watercolors to paint on a canvas a simple picture or background with a favorite scripture. Be sure to wear clothes that could get paint on them.
