“Since having the opportunity to practice the holy Dharma comes from the spiritual teacher and kind root and lineage gurus, contemplate their great kindness. Since the Dharma is the Buddha's teaching, contemplate the Buddha's great kindness. Since hearing it together with holy companions encourages virtuous practice, contemplate the great kindness of virtuous companions. That there are no obstacles to practicing the Dharma is due to the kindness of the ocean of dakinis and holy protectors, so contemplate the great kindness of the ocean of oath-bound guardians. The parents who nurture and raise the body that practices the Dharma are greatly kind. And all of these are due to the kindness of the holy teachings of the Buddha. Therefore, contemplate: "May the holy teachings of the Buddha, which are the source of benefit and happiness, long endure."
