The Salvation Army in Imperial Valley serves El Centro with family services, a shelter, thrift store, family store, youth programs, and worship. There is a service center at the corps to assist those in genuine need with emergency food boxes, vouchers for clothing and other important items from the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Hot meals for needy seniors and food for outreach programs are prepared in the center's kitchen.

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL IN IMPERIAL VALLEY! ✏️❤️

Last week, we were blessed to hold two Back-to-School distributions—one in the north end of the Valley in Calipatria, and another in El Centro.

We met many families who are working hard but struggling with the cost of getting their children ready for a new school year. Every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Thanks to the incredible support of Walmart and the generosity of our Imperial Valley community, we were able to provide school supplies to more than 180 children! 🙌🎒

To everyone who donated, supported our Stuff the Bus efforts, volunteered, or helped make these distributions possible—THANK YOU! Your generosity is making a real difference for local children and families.

Our hearts are bursting with pride as six of our Imperial Valley youth musicians represent our Corps this week at the Western Music Institute (WMI)! 🎶

These young people have worked incredibly hard, investing countless hours into developing their musical gifts and growing in their faith. Seeing them take part in this amazing opportunity is a blessing and a testament to their dedication and perseverance.

We are so proud of each one of them and can’t wait to see how God will use this week to strengthen their talents, deepen their faith, and create lifelong friendships.
