Remnant Church is a community of faith with a consuming desire to connect the people of this modern culture to a God who loves them and has a plan and purpose for their lives. It is our consuming desire to connect ordinary people in search of acceptance, significance and love to a God who cares deeply for them and has a plan for their lives. It was a joy to celebrate the life and ministry of our sweet Laura McGrain. What a beautiful and rich legacy of faithful service to the children of Casa Caritas, to local churches and pastors in both Mexicali and Cuba.

For over 30 years, Laura and Mac McGrain served these beautiful people and have seen churches planted, pastors raised up and the gospel spread all over the Mexicali valley.

It was beautiful to see people who have been impacted by Laura's ministry come from both the states and the ejidos to pay tribute to her life on Saturday. Such a sweet presence of God's Spirit in the room.

Thank you, Laura, for loving and serving these people until your last breath on earth. Well done, faithful servant. Now rest at the feet of your Savior.
