Love is the FRUIT, not the fruitS.
The fruit of the Spirit isn't nine separate virtues but one unified fruit—love—expressed in different ways.

Pastor Isaac kicked off the Summer of Love series on Sunday. The following questions can help guide your reflection on and application of his sermon:

- In what ways have you seen the difference between wanting love and becoming a loving person?
- Which fruit of the Spirit do you sense the Holy Spirit is currently trying to grow in you?
- What does it practically look like for you to “abide” in Christ and surrender to the Spirit rather than trying harder?

God's posture toward humanity is not condemnation but reconciliation. The cross is presented as the ultimate proof that while we were far from God, He took steps toward us first, and we can never come to God before He has already chosen and loved us.

The cross reveals God's eternal character and his self-giving love.
At the heart of Pastor Isaac's Sunday message lies John 3:16, perhaps the most famous verse in Scripture, but we're challenged to see it with fresh eyes.
The cross isn't presented as God becoming loving or Jesus convincing an angry Father to calm down. The sacrifice of Christ exposes the heart of a God who has already chosen us, already pursued us, already loved us while we were far from Him.

On Sunday, Pastor Isaac preached about Pentecost and how God's presence in Acts 2 transformed fearful people into faithful witnesses through the Holy Spirit. His presence no longer resided in temples or tabernacles but became embodied in God's people—the church.

In the rush of our fast-paced world, one of the hardest parts of faith is learning to wait on God. The early church didn’t begin with bold action but with obedient waiting. Jesus told His disciples to stay in Jerusalem and wait for the promise of the Father instead of rushing out to change the world.

While they waited in prayer and community, God was already at work behind the scenes, preparing Paul, a man they didn’t even know yet, to powerfully advance His kingdom.

True waiting isn’t passive; it’s active trust that positions our hearts to recognize God’s voice and timing.
