Johnson Avenue church of Christ We are a body of believers in Jesus Christ! We believe He is the son of God and that He came to wash away the sins of mankind. (Matt 22:37-39)

The Johnson Ave church of Christ is a collection of people from various walks of life, races, backgrounds, and political beliefs. We all, however, have at least ONE thing in common -- the faith that through the grace of God, and our faith in His Son Jesus Christ, that we have the hope of eternal life in Heaven with Him one day. (Galatians 3:26-29)

Our faith drives us to glorify God in all we do, and love each other, just as Christ loved us.

We had an encouraging gospel meeting with Chris Emerson this past week! Check out our Youtube page or recent posts for the 5 lessons he shared with us from the life of Peter. His lesson Sunday morning took us across the Old Testament to show the foundation laid for baptism starting from the first day of creation. The picture attached is a summary, but the whole sermon is worth the listen!

By the end of Sunday, 3 souls were added to the Lord’s Church here at Johnson Avenue. What an uplifting weekend for God’s family.
