Kidz Klub wrapped up the 2025–2026 year with excitement, laughter, and celebration! 🎉 Things were kicked off with National Day of the Chicken, learning the Chicken Dance and creating our own animated chicken drawings. The children also shared their creativity and gratitude with our amazing Kitchen Krew, who have faithfully provided meals and fun food activities all year long. Our End-of-Year Celebration was filled with pizza, ice cream, face painting, games, prizes, books, candy, and even a Jesus Escape Room! As we close another wonderful year, we are grateful for our dedicated teachers, volunteers, support staff, Kitchen Krew, office and communications team, and congregation. Thank you for 23 years of supporting Kidz Klub and helping create so many smiles! ❤️

Sending out the invitation to join us today at 3:00pm on the front lawn by the flagpole for a National Moment of Remembrance honoring our fallen service members. At 3:00pm, Dennis McKinley will perform a live rendition of “Taps” as part of Taps Across America, a nationwide tribute held each Memorial Day. This gathering offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and honor those who gave their lives in military service, as well as the families who continue to carry their memory. If you would like to sit, please feel free to bring a lawn chair. Photos of loved ones who served and passed are also welcome.

This Sunday | 9am Prayer Experience & Pentecost Sunday ✨
Join us this Sunday at 9am before worship as we celebrate the Spirit alongside our neighbors at St. Alban’s. We’ll gather outside both churches for prayer experiences and fellowship. You’re also invited to wear red, orange, and/or yellow as we celebrate together!

Kidz Klub jumped right back in after Spring Break with a season full of fun, creativity, and celebration! The children learned about caring for the Earth, created their own books, decorated special cupcakes for Mother’s Day, enjoyed outdoor games, and shared lots of laughter together along the way. We are so grateful for all the wonderful volunteers who shared their time and gifts with our children this year!
Our final Kidz Klub event of the 2025–2026 year will be a big end-of-year party in late May with games, music, face painting, and more. We’re looking forward to celebrating together! For more information visit www.firstpres-elcajon.org.

Sunday School Fun! This past Sunday our students put their creativity to work by using simple supplies to invent their own games and challenges together. So much imagination, teamwork, and laughter! And they built a blanket fort they built as a symbol of God’s refuge and protection. As they shared stressors and worries from their lives, eggs were tossed at the outside of the fort reminding them that God is a safe refuge in the midst of it all. Join us on Sundays at 9:30am online or in person!
