Like Pastor Travis said, God is way more committed to your destination than you are.

1. Trust that Jesus sees you.
2. Trust that Jesus knows what he is doing.
3. Trust that Jesus will bring you through.
4. Trust that what Jesus starts, He is faithful to finish.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

Brother Wayne is our team member of the month and a beautiful example of what it looks like to serve with one purpose: that God would get all the glory.

Through Kingdom Life, Healing & Deliverance, and Kingdom Conversations, his heart remains the same - to serve people, point them to Jesus, and make His name known.

We’re grateful for faithful servants who remind us that it’s never about us. It’s always about Him. If you see him at hurch tomorrow, be sure to say hi and celebrate him with us!

If you’re ready to use your gifts and talents God has given you, text ‘Next Steps’ to 52525 for more information!

As we wrap up the month, we’re celebrating our Team Member of the Month, Ivy!

For the past 10 years, Ivy has faithfully called Rock El Cajon home, serving in both Worship and Young Adults for the last four years. Her willingness to simply say “yes” to where God has called her has been an encouragement to our church family.

When asked what keeps her motivated to continue serving, she shared that seeing God’s faithfulness in her own life and in the lives of others reminds her that even faithfully showing up can make an eternal impact.

In this season, God has been teaching her that just because she’s not in the room doesn’t mean He won’t move. It’s a beautiful reminder that God is the one who changes hearts, and our role is simply to be faithful where He’s called us while trusting Him with the rest.

When asked why serving is so important, Ivy shared:
“We’re called to come as we are, but not stay as we are. Serving teaches us humility, obedience, and love while creating a church where people feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to take their next step with Christ. Our willingness to serve opens the door for God to shape our character, deepen our faith, and use us for His purpose.”

Thank you, Ivy, for faithfully serving with humility, joy, and a heart that points people to Jesus. We’re so grateful for the impact you’ve made, and it’s been a joy celebrating you this month!
