MOBILE, Ala. — Today, the Hodge family is proud to announce a new chapter for
Whispering Pines Cemetery, driven by a deep commitment to community, accountability,

Hodge family has been honored to serve families throughout the Mobile area during some
of life’s most emotional moments. This work has never been just a responsibility; it has

"I am deeply honored to be bestowed the opportunity to lead Whispering Pines," said
Hardyryan P. Hodge, CEO and President of Whispering Pines Cemetery. "This is where my
family’s legacy lives, and this is where I feel called to continue serving the families of
Mobile,” he continued.
The cemetery has been undergoing a transformation over the last few years, which is challenging!
Through it all, the support, prayers, patience, and encouragement from the
Mobile family have been deeply appreciated. The community has stood together through
difficult days, and will continue to stand together as family and community.

He recognizes that there have been recent moments when service has not fully reflected
the standard area families deserve.
"I do not take recent shortcomings lightly," the new leader emphasized. Every family who comes to Whispering Pines should feel respected, heard, and cared for with dignity. As we move forward, I am committed to listening, addressing concerns directly, and making the improvements needed in how we serve, how we communicate, and how we care for this sacred place."
