I was just wondering if there were any southern gospel groups in or within 60 miles of Effingham IL looking for a high baritone or lead? Have plenty of experience singing harmony parts. Just curious what is out there if anything.

Hello. For those who may not know yet, the group I was in (Saviours Call) mainly due to health concerns is no longer singing. I thank God for everything He allowed us to be involved in over the last 4 years. I would ask that you would keep Dave Etheridge, Shirley Schierbaum, and myself in your prayers as we see what God has in store for each of us next. For now, I am going to make myself available for solo concerts (Church services, homecomings, etc). If you or your church would like for me to come, please contact me here. I do have some solo videos on my page if you haven’t heard me before. They are older but still reference myself. I will probably be adding some new solos here in the next few weeks. Thank you for your prayers and consideration. God bless.

I just got wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about the passing of Bart Southerd. I have kown him for a long time and thoroughly enjoyed his family group the Gospel Messengers. He was a great singer and even better Christian man and father. There was no doubt he loved his family and the Lord. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers will be going out for his family during this difficult time.

I just wanted to say thank you to First Assemble of God in Sorrento IL and Meadowbrook Church in Moro IL for allowing me to be a part of both of their services yesterday. It has been a long time since I have had a chance to sing solo and I really enjoyed myself. Both of their congregations were very friendly a accepting of my music. I also had different people in both services come up and tell me that one of my songs touched them in some way. That is what it is all about. I like being told I sing well, but when I am told that my songs my songs are ministering to people that excites me the most.

Here is a powerful song that is a southern gospel classic. If you have ever listened to southern gospel you will probably recognize it before I even start singing. The message is very relevant for today. We will soon hear that “Midnight Cry”.

I hope you enjoy this song. If you do please share.

Here is a song written by my brother-in-law, Stacy Weaver entitled “My God Speaks To Me”. I hope it ministers to you. Have a blessed rest of the week!

Here is a classic hymn I ran across that
I truly enjoy singing. If it ministers to you as much as it does to me please share that it might be a blessing to someone else. If there is a song you would like to hear me sing please let me know. I hope you have a great week!
