Knights of Columbus Edwardsville, IL Edwardsville Council 1143's meetings and many of its activity's take place at The Hall at 7132 Marine Road, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025. Michael J. O’Reilly.

Edwardsville Council 1143 was chartered on July 15th, 1906 — only 24 years after the first Knights of Columbus Council was founded by Fr. McGivney at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut. The council’s first Grand Knight and Chaplain were E.C. Ferguson and Reverend C.A. Its Charter membership consisted of 61 men from local churches. The council now has nearly 400 active members and is strong and active in Faith, Family, Community and Life programs.

Food and Household Items Drive going on at St. Boniface parking lot (Twin Oaks) and St. Mary’s parking lot until 12 noon today (March 14),

The following are the most-needed items by the Glen-Ed Pantry (other food and household items will still be accepted).

sugar, vegetable oil, diced tomatoes, canned fruit, canned pasta (ravioli, spaghetti O's), tooth paste, tooth brushes, men and women's deodorant, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Cash donations will be accepted for the purchase of fresh produce.

Any type of assistance/donation to help those in need in our community is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
