Edwardsville Council 1143's meetings and many of its activity's take place at The Hall at 7132 Marine Road, Edwardsville, Illinois 62025. Michael J. O’Reilly.

Edwardsville Council 1143 was chartered on July 15th, 1906 — only 24 years after the first Knights of Columbus Council was founded by Fr. McGivney at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut. The council’s first Grand Knight and Chaplain were E.C. Ferguson and Reverend C.A. Its Charter membership consisted of 61 men from local churches. The council now has nearly 400 active members and is strong and active in Faith, Family, Community and Life programs.
