At our St. Mary's groundbreaking ceremony, one of the most meaningful moments was the placement of the first stone.
More than the start of construction, this stone symbolizes the faith, prayers, sacrifices, and generosity of countless parishioners who made this day possible.
In Scripture, Christ is called the Cornerstone. As this stone was placed into the earth, we entrusted this project to Him, asking that He be the foundation of all that follows.

Durante nuestra ceremonia de colocación de la primera piedra, uno de los momentos más significativos fue precisamente la colocación de esa piedra inaugural.
Más que el inicio de una construcción, esta piedra simboliza la fe, las oraciones, los sacrificios y la generosidad de innumerables feligreses que hicieron posible este día.
En la Sagrada Escritura, Cristo es llamado la Piedra Angular. Al colocar esta piedra en la tierra, encomendamos este proyecto a Él, pidiéndole que sea el fundamento de todo lo que está por venir.

Today, we simply want to say thank you to our priests for their faith, leadership, sacrifice, and joyful witness. We are blessed by all they do for our community - often behind the scenes and always with great love.
Please keep our priests in your prayers and take a moment to thank them the next time you see them.

Nuestros sacerdotes siempre están en movimiento.
Hoy queremos expresar nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a nuestros sacerdotes por su fe, liderazgo, sacrificio y alegre testimonio. Somos bendecidos por todo lo que hacen por nuestra comunidad, muchas veces detrás de escena y siempre con gran amor.

The rising incense at Mass is more than a beautiful tradition.
It symbolizes our prayers ascending to God and reminds us that we enter into something sacred whenever we gather for worship. The sweet fragrance fills the church as a sign of reverence, honor, and the presence of the Lord.
As the smoke rises heavenward, may our hearts rise as well - offering our prayers, gratitude, and worship to God.

El incienso que se eleva durante la Santa Misa es mucho más que una hermosa tradición.
Simboliza nuestras oraciones que ascienden hacia Dios y nos recuerda que entramos en algo sagrado cada vez que nos reunimos para el culto. Su dulce fragancia llena la iglesia como signo de reverencia, honor y de la presencia del Señor.
Así como el humo se eleva hacia el cielo, que también nuestros corazones se eleven, ofreciendo a Dios nuestras oraciones, nuestra gratitud y nuestra adoración.

We officially broke ground on St. Mary’s and brought with us a piece of history: the statue of St. Mary, moved for the first time since 1917.
The future of our parish starts here. 🙏

We are so grateful to our Parishes of the Valley family for your incredible generosity and support of the St. Mary’s groundbreaking. Hundreds of parishioners came together to take part in this blessed and historic moment for our parish.
A special thank you to the many volunteers whose time, energy, and dedication made this day possible - what a beautiful celebration it was.
